Do you sometimes have the feeling life is running away from you? The feeling that you are no longer the creator of your life but just a participant, just doing the things on your list? Do you experience running out of time because there’s always new input in your head? And are you curious as to where you can have the key to a more relaxed life? Nowadays our phone, computer and other digital products are an integral part of us and
surrounding us most of the day. It starts in the morning by reading the news and
newspaper on the tablet, you arrange meetings on a computer program, share
information on social media and chat with friends in an app-group. Although this is normal for many of us, please realize that it’s not only a choice to live and work like this, but it is also a way of life from which you can’t easily withdraw. And it is a way of life with which we mainly connect with our head and increasingly disconnect from our body and feelings.
In my search for an opportunity to restore the balance between those two: thinking and feeling I’ve been brought to the Shamanism, a thousand year old and proven way of healing body and spirit between man and nature, between people and a way of healing between people and their spiritual source.
Shamanism is an ancient spiritual and healing practice found throughout the Americas and all traditional cultures in the world. It’s based on the teachings of the earth and on direct communication with nature. According to shamanism everything has a soul and all souls are always linked to each other. Every animal, the elements, the sun, moon and stars, the trees, humans, days and nights, the planets, have a soul and has its own unique powers. Shamans can come too close to these souls and their stories and work with their healing powers.
Daily Life With Shamanic Life
Shamanism can help us to feel more connected with our environment. It can teach us the part of belonging to a larger whole, can teach us about the world around us and teach us how to listen to it. It can provide answers to many questions. It can bring us into contact
with our own power-sources, found inside ourselves and in surrounding souls. Anyone can learn simple shamanic techniques which will help you create more balance in your daily life, receive more strength and more power. And you’ll experience life not only with your head but also with your body and soul.
Stay Tuned – Next time I will tell you about the shamanic medicine-wheel and how you can easily use this in your daily life.
